«XRG» to serve as Diamond Partner of the OGT 2026 International Conference and Exhibition in Ashgabat
«XRG», a company of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), will become the diamond partner of the 31st International Conference and Exhibition «Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2026». The forum and exhibition will be held in Ashgabat from 21 to 23 October. «XRG» is already involved in the development of Turkmenistan's offshore fields: in May 2025, the company acquired a 38 percent stake in offshore Block I in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea. «XRG» joined «PETRONAS» and the State enterprise «Hazarnebit» under a new production sharing agreement with the State concern «Türkmennebit». The Malaysian oil and gas company «PETRONAS» holds 57 percent and remains the project operator, while the State enterprise «Hazarnebit» holds 5 percent. The project gives «XRG» the opportunity to take part in developing natural gas resources of more than 7 trillion cubic feet. In addition, XRG and PETRONAS have concluded a long-term gas sales agreement with the State concern «Türkmengaz». «XRG» was established by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) in November 2024 as an international energy investment company with a total value of more than 80 billion US dollars. Its value currently exceeds 150 billion US dollars. The company's operations cover international gas projects, the chemical industry and energy solutions. «XRG» intends to join the top five largest integrated global players in gas and liquefied natural gas, and to bring its capacity to 20–25 million tonnes per year by 2035. The gas projects of «XRG» are located in the United States of America, Egypt, Mozambique, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and countries of South America. In September last year, «XRG» announced the opening of offices in Ashgabat, Washington, Baku and Maputo.
