Chinese instructors conduct classes at the «Luban Workshop» of the Internationa Oil and Gas University
From October 24 to 31, 2026, the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University is hosting faculty members from Xi'an Shiyou University and Hebei Petroleum University (PRC). The Chinese instructors are conducting training sessions for teachers and students at the university’s «Luban Workshop». The classes are organized under the Memorandum of Understanding signed on October 18, 2024, in Xi'an, People's Republic of China. The document was signed by the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, Xi'an Shiyou University, Hebei Petroleum University, China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), and the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE). The training aims to enhance the professional expertise and pedagogical skills of educators, ensure the sustainable development of the «Luban Workshop» in Turkmenistan, and study the best practices of specialized higher educational institutions. Additionally, the initiative focuses on advancing practical cooperation among educational professionals and discussing prospective areas for joint collaboration. The university expressed its sincere gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov for creating extensive opportunities to expand international cooperation in the country's scientific and educational spheres.
